I am an actress/performer/writer and also love to sing. I write very simple songs, usually of the folk variety. I like Yoko Ono's "Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band" and her recently released, "Yes I am a Witch." And of course, I like witches. Is there a song idea that you'd like me to explore? Something you'd like to hear?

I especially like spontaneous harmonizing and singing at the top of my lungs with large groups of friends when drinking in public, preferably in Europe or Asia where it's legal to drink in public. Would you like to hear some harmonies?

When I can, I'm a substitute Karaoke Hostess at Hope & Anchor, a popular little diner in Red Hook, Brooklyn. I've got an alter ego, Gracie Man/shun (or Mansion). Hosting there is usually a lot of fun, except when people get too drunk and spit all over the microphone. That's disgusting. But I don't lose my patience over that. It's the rude people that make me lose my temper. Would you like to see me lose my temper?

I love to play double dutch. I almost entered one of those annual double dutch competitions which used to be sponsored at Lincoln Center, maybe still are, but I could never master turning and jumping in the rope at the same time. My partnering skills weren't very strong but still, I was good. So in my spare time, I like to troll around the neighborhood and try to find a good game going in the park. Being taller than most of the girls that play now has forced me to develop a kind of stooped-posture jump so that my neck doesn't get snagged between the ropes. Especially considering that I prefer playing with kids who use insulated wire, the way we did back in my neighborhood, so that the shape of the ropes isn't compromised when turning at higher speeds.
