Someone who was working in the FBI would have gotten familiar with snitches. A snitch expert would be someone who worked with those who snitched on others. Being able to use one criminal to give up another criminal so their charges would not be so bad upon themselves is snitching. Some criminals wont do it because they fear what the other criminal may do to them. But in other circumstances. a criminal wants out of their problem and if the only way to save themselves is to give up someone else, they will.
There can a snitch expert in any area of justice. There are people needed who can sort through the truth and figure out stories no mater what the crime was. Being able to be a people person, making the snitch feel comfortable to give the information is very important. Feeling the need to protect fellow criminals is a natural reaction, so being able to find just the right threat, or piece of information to make someone snitch is a skill not many have. Its important to have this so that justice can come down upon criminals, large and small.
The other part of being a snitch expert is having friends very low. Being able to have a lot of people with very little crime, but crime none the less is good to have in your back pocked so you can gather information when its needed. By being able to say you will over look their parking ticket if they give up a murderer is worth it in the long run. There are those out there that live their lives snitching on others so they stay out of trouble. Being able to find those people and have them feel comfortable enough to tell you things is imperative.
The information that a snitch expert may gather can help put certain people in jail, or bring big criminals to justice. Knowing that something as simple as the truth about someone can help make the streets safer is a good bit of information. Having people out there that specialize in extrating that information is imparative to make sure the cycle of justic continues to work.
