Which Car To Go For? Brand New Or Second Hand?
Zoey and I have been talking about buying a car together. Like share the expenses, insurance, gas bills and what not. It is co-ownership and we have been talking about it for months. We finally decided to get a Black Toyota Vios and we are now looking at several models both brand new and second hand. There was a huge difference in price and we are looking at our options. A friend once said that it would be best if we understand our consumer rights when buying a second hand car. She said there are a lot of factors to consider that might affect our decision whether to go for a brand new one or a second hand one. Zoey’s big sister has been working as a lawyer for an insurance firm and we decided to check with her and see what she thinks. Zoey once mentioned that while her sister was still in Law School, she had this professor that asked the class to come up with a paper revolving around “consumer law fit for purpose” and it did not take her sister a long time to finish the paper. I think it would be a great idea if we consult with her sister first before doing anything else. We already have the money, initial money that is to pay for down payment and I think Zoey and I would not have any problem coming up with the monthly fees. We both have good salaries if I may say so and we both also know how to budget our money. We have already calculated how much we would allot for this project per month and I think we are good to go.
